It’s been awhile but I thought I would post this photo I took while biking.

I took this photo last November at Hardy Falls. This was right before the rocks came crashing down in this area making it dangerous to go right up to this point. I decided to convert this photo to Sepia. I thought it added a bit more drama to the scene.

We got our camper ready and I can’t wait to start camping again, looking forward to all things outdoors

Faith is believing in something you can’t see and knowing it exists beyond all reasons. And, that’s what keeps you going.
We just got back from a family vacation to the Rockies. It was really fun as usual. Somehow, I never get tired of this place. I have come here since I was a child and I still have that same sense of wonder. I love it here and there is still many more areas that I haven’t seen yet. Below is a photograph of the road to Galatea, one of my favourite hikes of all time.

Johnson Canyon is beautiful anytime of year.

I made my way through 4 ft of snow to get the above shot. My husband was amused as he watched me push my way through. He said “only me” and I also had no socks on (long story) and the snow came through my hiking boots..icy cold feet

A Great Trip
I enjoyed snowshoeing through the Rockies. It was awesome.

Ah, I think the best vacations are the ones where there are no fixed plans, you get there when you get there and you partake in outdoor activities, discover beautiful places along the way and then relax at the end of the day, that’s a vacation to me.

As I said in my earlier post, I haven’t been photographing lately which makes me a bit sad. So, I decided to take photos with my iPhone. Above is a shot of me with my skis on the lift in control. Below is a photo of me with my skis, through the trees off the beaten path where I lost control
Overall, another great day of skiing.

I thought I would post another photo I took at the Toronto Zoo last summer. I really felt sad when I took this photo. I was on the other side of the viewing area and when I saw this scene I just wished that I was photographing animals in the wild, in their natural habitat.
